About this cabinet In the cabinet

December 1993: id Software put Knee-Deep in the Dead on bulletin boards on purpose. This is Doom 1.9 shareware — DOOM1.WAD only, the nine maps of episode one on the Phobos UAC base. Imps, pinkies, sergeants, the shotgun, and the first time a PC felt like an arcade cabinet. The other episodes were the commercial game. This one was the pamphlet.

You are a marine the radio no longer answers. The tech-base is rust, slime, and doors that need a keycard. F1 is help. Esc is the menu. Saves in this browser stay with this machine.
